Dec 14, 2015· I am still a happy user of this micro lathe. I did buy a Sieg X1 mill as well which I use for bigger work. The max mill cutter size for the Proxxon is 3 mm which is really small. You will enjoy the Proxxon if you have work in that size category. Jan

Used Axminster / Sieg X1 Micro Mill. It makes no difference to the operation of the machine as it's variable speed anyway. Couple of small marks on the table which I've tried to show in the pics. It's been used mainly on plastic and aluminium, it's capable of small cuts only but I've managed with it for a few years, just takes a bit patience.
